  • Barbara Kurman, Au.D. has been a clinical audiologist since 1978. Dr. Kurman is Board Certified by the American Board of Audiology and was a member of their Board of Governors, a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is Certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association. She served as a clinician, clinical supervisor and coordinator in a major metropolitan medical center before joining a special equipment distributor company in 1982. She served as the Director of Marketing for VTA Management, a rehabilitation therapy company, prior to the formation of e3 Northeastern Technologies Group. She has also served as President of the Metropolitan Audiology Study Group, Co Chair of the New York State Speech Language Hearing Association (NYSSLHA) Convention, served on the Board of NYSSLHA, and is a Past President of NASED and served on its Executive Board.  Dr. Kurman has been awarded the 2009 Distinguished Service Award by the New York State Speech Language and Hearing Association, and in 2014, she received the President’s Award from the Diagnostic Group, a consortium of prestigious manufacturers of audiology instrumentation. She has co-authored several articles and chapters of text books, as well as has presented at the local, state and national levels of audiology professional organizations and institutions.

  • As the newest member of the e3 Northeastern Technologies Group team, Greg Romano, BS, BC-HIS has worked as a Legal Assistant throughout high school and early college. He graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. Greg also began a Doctorate of Audiology program, but then left to begin work as a hearing instrument dispenser. He has had a wide range of experience in customer service with a large hearing aid manufacturing company and has operated several private hearing aid practices concurrently. Greg lives in northern NJ, and engages his spare time in humanitarian efforts with the Lion’s Club, officiating youth basketball, taking care of his dog, plus additional DIY projects.
  Chuck Comitto

  • Chuck Comitto has been in the equipment industry since 1968, initially starting in a hearing aid repair capacity.  He then moved into the special instruments field working for Madsen Electromedics which was the American distribution arm of Madsen Denmark.  He left that position in 1975 and worked for a SID (Guinta Associates) in the sales capacity and eventually became VP of sales.  In 1991 he left and formed e3 Northeastern Technologies Group with Barbara Kurman.  In 2001, e3 Midlantic Technologies Group was formed with Barbara, Chuck, and Sherman Lord as managing members. Chuck has a BS in business and he brings a strong background in electrical engineering, sales and calibration/technical services and business administration.  Chuck served as the first President of NASED (National Association of Special Equipment Distributors, and has provided extensive technical support to numerous Ph.D. doctoral thesis/dissertation and research projects.

  • Angelo has worked in the hearing health care industry since 1977 and with e3 Northeastern Technologies since 1992.  He serves on the Technical Standards Committee for NASED (National Association for Special Equipment Distributors) and is a NASED Certified Audiometric Technician.  Angelo is one of those rare individuals who can create instant rapport with our customers thereby ensuring them that they are receiving the very best service that e3 Northeastern Technologies Group can provide.  Angelo's hobbies include computer technology and astronomy.  Angelo, his wife and two sons live in Northern New Jersey.

  • Ed has been with e3 Northeastern Technologies Group since 1996. He has a degree in bio-engineering and electronics. A NASED Certified Audiometric Technician, Ed's interests include volunteering with his local fire department and the Boy Scouts of America. As a true volunteer, he knows the value of service and support that our customers require.

  • Rodney brings a wide background of technical and electronic experience to e3 Northeastern Technologies Group.  He has worked in commercial, security environments as well as medical and customer electronics support. Rodney’s attention to detail and skill in troubleshooting electronic equipment will serve him well as he joins our team of audiometric technicians.

  • Nasser joined e3 Northeastern Technologies Group following his work at a major electronics company specializing in radio frequency equipment.   He has a BS degree in Electronics Engineering Technology; with extensive experience in active and passive electronic components, as well as networking and troubleshooting.   During college, Nasser also gained experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on customer service.  In his spare time, Nasser enjoys hobbies such as sports, stock market activity and reading.

  • Barbara has been at e3 Northeastern Technologies Group since 1994.  Since graduating from Dowling College, her career interest in business administration has been a great asset to our company.  Barbara is extremely committed to ensuring that all of our customers’ experiences are handled in the most professional and expeditious manner possible. A native Long Islander, Barbara spends personal time taking award-winning photographs.

  • Deb joined e3 Northeastern Technologies Group following her extensive work experience in the administrative offices of a pre-school in Nassau County.  She also worked in the Service Department of the Off Track Betting Office (OTB) in NYC.  Deb is excellent at details and customer relations, and looks forward to working with our clients.  She resides in Nassau County with her family.
