ICS
NCI-480
NCI-480 has more stimulus control
than any other water caloric stimulator. Temperature, duration and flow rates of
irrigation are precisely controlled.
There is continuous circulation of the water through
the delivery tube and irrigation head eliminates the need to purge. Irrigation
and recording can be initiated from the delivery head. A light on the delivery
head illuminates the target for irrigation. Temperature and time settings are
digital as is the read-out of actual temperature. Front-panel indicators warn of
inappropriate temperatures and low water levels. Specially designed water
containers are easy to remove and resistant to spillage.
ICS
NCA-200
NCA-200 delivers a
continuous flow of air. The temperature is controlled at the tip of the delivery
tube. In addition to control of the temperature, it is vital that the flow of
the air be directed to the tympanic membrane. The NCA-200 is equipped with a
lighted otoscopic head, which provides the required control of the air stream.
Only ICS Medical offers this feature.
NCA-200 stabilizes at the desired temperature within one minute of start-up. A
digital display shows the temperature of the air stream. A button on the
delivery head starts timing the stimulation, starts recording and centers the
tracings.

Micro Medical
AquaStar
The AquaStar water caloric irrigator
delivers a precisely controlled temperature and flow rate of cool or warm water
for vestibular stimulation during caloric testing. In less than a minute from
turning on the AquaStar the temperature stabilizes at the desired setting as
indicated on the digital display.

Micro
Medical AirStar
The AirStar caloric irrigator delivers a
precisely controlled temperature and flow rate of cool or warm air for
vestibular stimulation during caloric testing. In less than a minute from
turning on the AirStar the temperature stabilizes at the desired setting as
indicated on the digital display.
The AirStar caloric irrigator utilizes a lighted otoscope hand piece. The
otoscope hand piece features replaceable tips, a magnifying lens, and a cool
bright white LED light pipe for illuminating the tympanic membrane (TM)
without obstructing the airflow or the view of the TM.
